1st Shift Assembler
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as 1st Shift Assemblers on a 12-18 month contract basis. In this role, you will use a variety of tools, fixtures, work instructions, and test equipment to accurately assemble and test medical devices under direct supervision. Successful candidates must be open to working during weekdays and Saturdays when necessary.
Responsibilities
Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements as per the Quality System.
Report any issues with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Project Engineer or Supervisor.
Provide hands‑on job function training to coworkers when needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support manufacturing functions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Microscope experience
Small part assembly
Strong communication skills
Ability to work with a microscope for 90% of the shift
Minimum of 6 months of high-volume small part assembly experience with a microscope
High School Diploma or equivalent
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in medical device assembly
Cleanroom experience
Familiarity with hand tools, measuring tools, calipers, and micrometers
Mechanical and electrical assembly skills

Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing cleanroom environment, where you will work in close stations 100% of the time. The work schedule is primarily from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with the possibility of starting as early as 5:00 am and working until 3:30 pm. Flexibility to work Saturdays is required.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr.
