We’re looking for a Service Technician to join our Buffalo, NY Service Department. This role is perfect for someone with a strong mechanical or electrical aptitude, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to grow into a leadership role in the welder repair industry. You’ll work both in the branch and potentially on the road at customer locations.
What You’ll Do As a Service Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing high-quality industrial and commercial equipment. You’ll:
Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment, plasma cutting systems, hydraulic bandsaws, ironworkers, CNC cutting tables, and other specialty equipment
Read wiring schematics and use hand tools to perform repairs
Test and diagnose electrical components using digital multimeters and other diagnostic tools
Lookup and identify the correct parts to complete tasks and repairs
Take initiative to work independently, while collaborating with the service team to meet department goals
Maintain high quality and safety standards in every task

What You’ll Bring If you enjoy hands-on technical work, have mechanical or electrical experience, and want to grow with a company that invests in its people, we’d love to hear from you:
Experience in electronics, computer repair, PC boards, HVAC, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, auto mechanics, small equipment, or other repair/service fields
Valid NY State Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Understanding of electrical components, input voltage, and power
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent (secondary degree is a plus)
Must be 18 years of age or older
