Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a New Accounts Clerk. This position will be responsible for creating new accounts and managing existing accounts for our heating and cooling products. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to multitask.
Key Responsibilities
Create new accounts for clients interested in our heating and cooling products
Ensure accurate and timely processing of account information and documentation
Research and respond to inquiries regarding account setup and status
Maintain accurate records of customer account information and updates
Collaborate with sales team to assist with customer inquiries and account management
Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to data protection policies
Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely payments
Prepare and distribute client account statements and reports
Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent education
1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the HVAC industry
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of accounting principles is a plus
