Primary Responsibilities
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ensure all work complies with NOV safety standards and operational procedures.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Job Duties
Use diagnostic tools such as digital multimeters, megohmmeters, and oscilloscopes to perform electrical tests and repairs.
Apply knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and PLC automation to resolve issues efficiently.
Work closely with technicians, operators, and supervisors to minimize downtime.
Prioritize and manage maintenance tasks in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
Document repair activities, root causes, and corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Education and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment preferred.
Familiarity with PLC automation and ladder logic preferred.
Ability to travel approximately 1–2 weeks per month as required.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical prints.
Skilled in safe and effective use of test instruments, hand tools, and power tools.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
