Job Summary and Qualifications The Neuroscience / Chest Pain Coordinator is a Registered Nurse who provides support and assists in the delivery of quality patient care. The primary responsibility is continuum of stroke care for neurological and neurosurgical patients. The Neuroscience Coordinator will ensure continuity between clinical practice and standards of care to patients with neurological disorders. The Chest Pain coordinator will provide a continuum of care for the cardiac patient. This individual works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and case managers and other health care disciplines using a team approach. This position will serve as a leader, role model and mentor to facilitate each professional providing care to neuroscience, spine and chest pain patients. This individual will report directly to the COO as an in‑house clinical consultant regarding excellence in clinical care. The coordinator will be responsible for meeting Joint Commission standards, complying with corporate policy and procedure. The coordinator has responsibility for the development and execution of growth strategies for the service lines. Responsible for performance improvement, P&P, physician relations, program development; develops and implements communication, education, and community outreach strategies.

Qualifications

4‑year Bachelor Degree.

Graduate of accredited nursing school (BSN preferred).

More than 5 years of experience.

Minimum of 3 years progressive management experience.

Hold current licensure in the State of Florida, as a Registered Nurse.
