This position is available for both Polysomnographic Technicians and Polysomnographic Assistants. Responsibilities include patient set‑up, acquisition, and scoring of testing parameters in accordance with physician orders and department standards. The role demonstrates competency in all sleep tests, including polysomnography, PAP titrations, oxygen titrations, MSLT, MWT, and HST. Polysomnographic Technician
Education
Required: High School Diploma Preferred: Associate’s Degree in an allied health related field Experience
Preferred: Minimum one year as an RPSGT or RRT Skills
Strong clinical decision making Basic computer skills Strong communication skills Ability to work independently Licensure / Certification / Registration
Required: RPSGT or SDS OR registration through ABSM, BRPT, or NBRC and must obtain RPSGT or SDS within one year of hire Preferred: REEGT or RRT Polysomnographic Assistant
Education
Required: High School Diploma equivalent Experience
Required: At least one year experience in a healthcare setting Skills
Strong clinical decision making Basic computer skills Strong communication skills Licensure / Certification / Registration
