Sabey Data Centers is hiring three Data Center Maintenance Technicians to join their team in Quincy, WA! This hands‑on role keeps a state‑of‑the‑art data center running at its best—maintaining HVAC systems, supporting electrical and mechanical equipment, and ensuring peak facility performance.

Hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for the first 90 days. After that, shifts switch to either Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

About the role The Data Center Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and peak performance of HVAC systems within the data center facility, ensuring stable environmental conditions that support seamless operations. Technicians work outdoors in all weather conditions and must be self‑motivated, proactive, and effective team players. In addition to HVAC maintenance, technicians may be assigned other duties as needed.
What you will be doing
Perform comprehensive cleaning of HVAC systems—including air handling units, ductwork, filters, coils, fans, and condensers—using industry‑standard techniques and materials.
Replace air filters on a scheduled basis, maintain detailed records, and manage inventory to ensure timely replacements.
Inspect and clean condenser coils and conduct routine maintenance on evaporator and condenser coils to prevent issues.
Maintain and clean ventilation components, including ductwork and exhaust systems, and inspect regularly to ensure proper airflow, temperature control, and operational efficiency.
Maintain logs of maintenance activities, inspections, and schedules; generate reports documenting HVAC equipment status, maintenance history, and compliance.
Work closely with operations teams to align HVAC maintenance with facility requirements and support installations, upgrades, and projects involving HVAC systems.
Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, promote a culture of safety, and report concerns or incidents promptly.
Essential functions
Interface with technology and digital tools.
Work shifts flexibly, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Physically capable of stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, and lifting 50+ lbs.
Work independently with minimal instruction.
Adhere to company information security policies by protecting credentials and reporting potential threats.
Minimum Qualifications and Competencies
High School Diploma.
Basic knowledge of hand tools.
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions.
Attention to detail in cleaning and maintenance.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to data center‑specific HVAC procedures.
Aptitude and willingness to learn and utilize AI tools and technology.
Salary Anticipated yearly salary range: $42,685 – $64,028, depending on experience.
