Job Description Our client is seeking multiple entry-level cable technicians who are willing to relocate to Altoona, Iowa for a 6‑month assignment, followed by a long‑term move to Lebanon, IN site. These technicians will be learning cabling on a grand scale. They have an exclusive contract to build the cable infrastructure for them throughout the Meta data center.

Responsibilities include assisting higher‑level techs and team leads in building out the infrastructure: pulling cable, pulling fiber, learning color codes, learning how to punch down and terminate fiber, installing cable trays and pathways, building server racks. More than likely technicians will start installing cable trays and building server racks.

All candidates will be considered a Level 1 at the $20‑$23 /hr rate unless they have 2+ years of previous experience working with fiber in a data center and will be considered for $24‑$27 /hr.

Additional Skills & Qualifications Punctual and team player, able to flexible on hours. If they get behind they will go to 10‑12 hour days. 6 days a week.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Altoona, IA.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00–$23.00 /hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
