Job Description Responsible for assisting with implementation and maintenance of the Infection Control Program’s surveillance and serves as a resource to all hospital departments, participating in identified projects or groups related to Infection Control.

Assist with implementation and maintenance of the infection control program’s surveillance.
Serve as a resource to all hospital departments.
Participate in identified projects or groups related to infection control.
Qualifications
Shift : Full Time Days
Education : Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Clinical Microbiology, or other health‑related science required. Master’s in Nursing, Education, Epidemiology, Public Health, Clinical Microbiology, or other health‑related science preferred.
Experience : Two (2) to five (5) years clinical experience in a health‑related field required; One (1) year experience in Infection Prevention or epidemiology preferred.
Technical Skills : Computer proficiency including word processing, spreadsheet and database skills.
License/Certification : Current State of Nevada license in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences, or other related health science if applicable. Eligible to become certified in Infection Prevention within two years of employment.
Other : Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
