This position is located at Fort Gordon - Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation - Technical Support Services.

Duties

Works under the supervision of the activity manager who makes specific assignments, explains polices and procedures, and reviews work for quantity and quality of completed projects.

Job may require work in various facilities depending on requirements as determined by customer demand or programmed activities.

Maintains schedules for maintenance and/or repair of physical facility and manages data and prepares, tracks, and adjusts work orders for maintenance which cannot be completed by self-help.

Conducts surveillance of total facility and reports any unusual findings to supervisor and schedules and coordinates short and long-range maintenance, repair, and minor construction requirements.

Records and maintains information on safety certifications and inspections and may be required to monitor interior and exterior areas of building and grounds to determine if repairs are needed.

Opens/closes facility and windows, and assuring security system is operable; prepares, maintains, and monitors requirement lists and inventories for supplies and equipment in the facilities. Performs other duties as assigned.

Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
