Join Sprouts Farmers Market as a Deli Clerk and help guests find healthy, fresh foods while working in an energetic, fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities
Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing “fresh and easy meals.” Provide a high level of customer service and ensure that deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented. Maintain cleanliness of the deli department area. Filling, maintaining, and rotating products and displays. Prepare special orders and party trays. Operate deli equipment (meat and cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales) following company standards and procedures. Keep the deli area and equipment clean, safe, and sanitary. Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality. Qualifications
At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent; experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field preferred. Dependable, reliable, and friendly with a positive attitude. Flexible schedule – able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and shifting hours as needed. Good communication skills, ability to take direction, and work in a team environment. Ability to answer phones and take special orders. Must be able to lift/carry 70 lbs. and stand continuously for 8 hours per shift. Perform general housekeeping, cleaning, and sanitizing duties. Operate slicers, wrapping, and cooking equipment safely. Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations; maintain a Food Handlers permit. Work in various temperature environments (cooler and freezer). Other related duties as assigned. Benefits
