Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing “fresh and easy meals” Provide a high level of customer service and ensure Deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented while maintaining cleanliness of the Deli department Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays Prepare special orders and party trays Operate meat and cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales, and other deli equipment following company standards and procedures Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary deli area and equipment, including cleaning shelves and products, keeping floors free of spills, and removing hazardous debris Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality Qualifications
At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent; experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field preferred Dependable and reliable with an outgoing, friendly demeanor and positive attitude Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Strong communication skills with the ability to take direction and work in a team environment Ability to answer phones and take special orders Physically able to lift/carry up to 70 lb. and stand for up to 8 hours per shift Perform general housekeeping and equipment maintenance in the department Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights & Measures regulations and maintain a Food Handlers permit Ability to work in varying temperature environments (cooler and freezer) Other related duties as assigned Benefits
