The Shipping and Receiving Clerk ensures trade show exhibit projects are flawlessly tracked, packed and shipped for outbound requirements as well as supports the receiving activities for all inbound raw materials and finished product returns. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk helps manage the flow of materials, graphics, and exhibit components in a fast-paced trade show and exhibit production environment. This role is critical to ensuring booths and displays are accurately received, properly packed, and shipped on time to trade shows and event venues nationwide. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in a fast paced, high volume warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of exhibit components, graphics, and materials
Accurately log and label inventory using packing lists and shipping documentation
Pack and crate trade show booths, graphics, and equipment to ensure safe transit
Prepare outbound shipments, including labeling, documentation, and carrier coordination
Schedule freight, courier, and convention advance warehouse deliveries
Coordinate with production, graphics, and project management teams to meet show deadlines
Track shipments and resolve shipping discrepancies or damage claims
Maintain organized storage areas for crates, graphics, and exhibit assets
Assist with loading and unloading trucks and freight carriers
Follow safety procedures when handling heavy or oversized exhibit materials
