Overview
Our Client, a Food Product Manufacturer company, is looking for a Customer Supply Chain Representative for their Hackettstown, NJ location.
Responsibilities
Build a relationship with the customer to enhance trust and collaboration.
Manage order activities to insure timely delivery creation, load planning and adherence to requested arrival date.
Proactively communicate any issues to sales and the customer, take the lead to improve processes and resolve problems.
Manage key master data in all order management systems (SAP) and desk guide.
Represent customer at cross functional CMOS meetings and participate in problem solving and after action reviews as necessary.
Recognize and resolve any potential order conflicts to insure on time and in full order delivery.
First point of contact between the customer and key Client Wrigley Confectionary functions to ensure timely production, delivery and risk mitigation for customer orders.
Manage projects to drive improvements to customer metrics.
The Customer Supply Chain Representative is a critical role with the Supply Chain Team, as the primary point of contact for our customer they are responsible for building a collaborative customer centric relationship.
The Customer Supply Chain Representative will own the order to delivery process and work closely with their customers to drive critical supply chain capabilities and metrics.
As the primary point of contact they will keep the customer informed on order and product flow dedicating additional analytics to insure successful promotions and seasonal selling periods.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Management and/or related field preferred.
2+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, Order Management Logistics or Customer-facing role.
Knowledge of EDI, ERP and SAP preferred.
Must be comfortable with external communication and conflict resolution
Background in Account Receivables and Payables preferred.
Intermediate to advanced level of MS Excel
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with other internal departments
