We’re seeking an experienced
Master Scheduler / Senior Production Planner
to drive MPS, capacity planning, and SIOP in a manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Inventory teams and leads scheduling strategy across production.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop and manage the
Master Production Schedule (MPS)
aligned with demand, capacity, and business priorities
Drive
SIOP , capacity planning, and scheduling strategy across domestic and international production
Optimize ERP/MRP planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, planning horizons)
Identify and resolve capacity constraints and material shortages before they impact production
Lead planning for
new product introductions
and engineering changes
Partner closely with Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Inventory Control, and Demand Planning
Oversee site-level inventory alignment and support inventory reduction initiatives
Lead and develop
1–2 direct reports
Track and improve scheduling KPIs, throughput, and capacity utilization
Support
lean manufacturing, Kanban, and continuous improvement
initiatives
What We’re Looking For
5–8 years of production or supply chain planning experience (manufacturing)
1–2 years in a master scheduling or senior planning role
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field
APICS CPIM or CSCP preferred
Strong ERP/MRP experience (NetSuite preferred)
Advanced Excel skills; Tableau/Smartsheet a plus
Strong analytical, communication, and cross‑functional leadership skills
