Maintenance Technician – RHO Residential
Full‑time position located in Bayonne, New Jersey.
Base Pay $23.55/hr - $26.93/hr
Responsibilities
Assist the Maintenance team in maintaining the physical integrity of the residential property.
Diagnose and perform preventative and routine maintenance or repair for residential appliances, HVAC, flooring, lighting, gas fixtures, boilers, locks, gutters, and ceiling leaks.
Provide customer‑service focused support with strong people skills.
Arrive at the site within 30 minutes and work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks a year; serve on‑call as scheduled or necessary.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance or related trade.
EPA certifications for refrigerant recycling (at a minimum Type I & II).
Valid driver’s license and insurance.
Ability to diagnose and perform preventative and routine maintenance or repair for residential appliances, HVAC, tile, carpet and flooring, stairs, gates, fences, patios and railings, interior and exterior lights, gas fixtures and appliances, boiler, gas and electric, door locks and security systems, gutters and ceiling leaks.
Customer service focused with strong people skills.
Ability to arrive at the site within 30 minutes.
