Forklift Mechanic
DIRECT HIRE
Pay: $28-35/hr
Shift: 1st- flexible hours
Area: Warrensville Heights, OH
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical school education (minimum two years) preferred.
Six years of forklift maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MHE 8-hour maintenance technician certificate from a recognized manufacturer (e.g., Crown, Raymond, Hyster).
Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and combustion systems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Technical degree, welding skills, and experience with forklift repair and diagnostic equipment preferred.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair forklifts, including AC/DC electrical systems, motors, starters, contactors, relays, hydraulics, transmissions, brakes, steering, wheels, and suspension.
Test and repair systems using electrical meters and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
Perform welding and electrical repairs
