Additional Information About The Role Goldfarb School of Nursing is seeking a Clinical Education Coordinator. The focus will be on graduate students, primarily those enrolled in online or local programs, while also accommodating students from other locations. This position requires consistent communication with students to secure placements for clinical hours, manage required paperwork, and ensure that clinical hours are completed successfully.
Ideal candidates will have strong professional communication skills and possess a high level of organizational skills to manage student needs.
Monday-Friday, onsite position.

Role Purpose This role is responsible for securing clinical sites, associated clinical contracts and affiliation agreements. It coordinates and facilitates selection of clinical facilities in hospitals, health service organizations, and community health agencies for clinical placements and experiential learning activities for students at Goldfarb School of Nursing. The position collaborates with College program officers, directors, and/ or administration in securing contracts with the respective agencies and serving as a liaison between faculty, clinical agencies and community health agencies.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the assistant deans and program directors on the number of clinical sites needed and confirm current clinical placement sites prior to the start of each term. Secure additional clinical sites based upon the need of the programs prior to the start of each term.
Collaborate with Registrar and Program Directors/Assistant Deans to ensure appropriate distribution of students into clinical groups according to clinical site guidelines to ensure groups are evenly distributed in a timely manner. Collaborate with faculty on the evaluation of clinical sites and make recommendations for additions, modifications, and deletions of site utilization.
Support hiring managers in the onboarding of new faculty and adjuncts every term. Ensure that new adjunct and clinical faculty have completed requirements for teaching in accordance with the policies of the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
Ensure instructors and students have completed training required at the clinical sites such as SABA, EPIC and Pyxis access tutorials and CPR certification prior to assignment to a clinical unit. Attend weekly meetings as identified by manager.
Serve as a point of contact to maintain strong relationships with clinical sites and address issues as they arise.
