Entry-Level Teller
Location: Ann Arbor, MI

About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Teller to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. As a Teller, you will be the face of our credit union, providing exceptional service to members through both walk-in and drive-thru transactions. Key Responsibilities
Represent the credit union professionally, maintaining positive relationships with members and co‑workers.
Provide exceptional member service with attentiveness, adaptability, and efficient transaction processing.
Handle teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, and more.
Issue debit cards and assist with reports and general back‑office work.
Maintain and balance cash drawer throughout the day; buy/sell currency from the vault as needed.
Perform branch opening and closing procedures.
Answer member inquiries and phone calls; refer members to other departments for specialized support.
Complete required BVS training and comply with all policies and regulations.
Assist with ordering and organizing branch supplies.
Support training of new tellers and collaborate with small team members.
Maintain confidentiality of all member information.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Schedule & Work Environment
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM – No Saturdays (and no plans for change at this time)
Rotation: Handles both walk‑in and drive‑thru customers
Dress Code: Business casual (no jeans); occasional dress‑down or sports day
Team: Small, supportive team environment
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous cash handling or customer‑facing roles preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all policies and regulations.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and willingness to learn new systems.

Pay And Benefits: The pay range for this position is $35,360.00 – $37,440.00 per year.
