Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and safeguards patient, self and other staff from radiation hazards. Prepares and adjusts radiographic equipment and selects proper ionizing factors for diagnosis. Takes x‑rays following established procedures for patient care and safety, including positioning patients and implementing infection control protocols. Adjusts and sets radiographic controls.
