Pay Range $19.00/hr – $21.00/hr
Responsibilities
Ability to start and stop the machine safely without supervision.
Ability to place unfinished parts and remove finished parts from machine safely.
Monitor machine operation.
Check part quality with designated measurement instruments and understand when and how to stop machine safely.
Assist in the maintenance and repair of machinery.
Operate tools and machinery to aid the manufacturing process.
Perform periodic checks on equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Oversee the machine while executing tasks and make necessary adjustments to improve results.
Produce quality parts according to manufacturing targets and schedules as directed by the Plant Manager.
Record all machine actions and log completed parts for record keeping.
Assume responsibility for ensuring the duties of this position are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
Keep a clean and orderly work area.
Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Plant Manager.
Qualifications & Education Requirements
Willingness to learn and improve to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
High school diploma or GED required. Adequate work experience may be substituted.
Willingness to follow written or oral work instructions and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.
Preferred Skills
Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility.
Familiarity with various manufacturing tools and machinery including facers, lathes, CNCs, and other mechanical machinery.
Bilingual language skills in English and Spanish.
Ability to work well with others, be organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to lift heavy equipment, bend, and stand or walk for long periods of time.
Willingness to work in shifts that may include early or late hours, weekends, or overtime if necessary.
Additional Notes
Satisfactory pre‑employment drug testing is required.
All applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation and Benefits
After 30 days of employment, employee is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, vision, sick pay, vacation accruals, and 401(k).
Schedule Monday - Friday (Saturdays available).
Night Shift.
Seniority Level Entry level.
