Job Title: HR Coordinator
We are seeking an organized, people-first HR Coordinator to enhance our recruiting operations and candidate experience. This role involves sourcing talent, conducting initial phone screens, coordinating onsite interviews, and maintaining the applicant tracking system with accurate data. This position is a 2 to 3 month contract with the first week of training conducted in-person in Ashland City, TN, followed by a fully remote setup with occasional onsite days.
Responsibilities
Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and community networks.
Refresh job postings to ensure they reflect current requirements and branding.
Track candidate outreach and follow-ups.
Conduct structured phone screens to assess qualifications, interest, compensation parameters, and start availability.
Summarize phone screens with clear, objective notes and next-step recommendations.
Provide timely updates to candidates and set expectations for process steps and timelines.
Coordinate onsite interviews, including room scheduling, agendas, interviewer packets, and candidate logistics.
Confirm interview availability, send calendar invites, and share preparation materials.
Collect interviewer feedback promptly and facilitate debrief meetings for next-step alignment.
Create and maintain requisitions; update candidate statuses, dispositions, and interview results in the ATS (UKG).
Ensure data integrity by auditing job codes, workflows, and compliance fields weekly.
Generate simple activity reports and flag bottlenecks.
Support pre-employment steps such as background checks, reference verification, I-9 scheduling, and start-date confirmations.
Collaborate closely with HR, hiring managers, and recruiters to keep priorities visible and timelines on track.
Essential Skills
1-3 years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, or recruiting coordination.
Hands‑on experience with UKG or other ATS systems like iCIMS, Workday, Greenhouse.
Confident phone presence and comfortable conducting structured screens.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requisitions, schedules, and stakeholders.
Strong written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience coordinating high-volume interview days or onsite panels.
Familiarity with HR compliance steps such as EEO, background checks, and I-9 scheduling.
Basic reporting skills in Excel for activity metrics such as submittals per week, interview‑to‑offer ratios, and time‑to‑stage.
Work Environment The work environment includes the first week of training conducted in‑person in Ashland City, TN, followed by a fully remote setup. Occasional onsite days may be required.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $31.25/hr.
