Inspection Technician II

to play a critical role in launching high‑precision components that meet the demanding standards of flight. Your expertise ensures that every part entering production is compliant, reliable, and ready for mission‑critical performance. In this role, you won't just be checking parts—you’ll be safeguarding quality from the very first piece, influencing downstream processes, and serving as a key link between engineering, production, and quality assurance.

Your schedule will be

Monday‑Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM , with overtime on a business‑need basis. You will be working in a brand‑new state‑of‑the‑art facility which includes new equipment, a cafeteria, onsite fitness gym, golf simulator, outdoor tennis court, basketball court, and pickleball court.

$1,500 Sign on Bonus*

What You Will Do

Perform First Article Inspections and complete related documentation.

Inspect a variety of parts using measuring/inspection instruments (e.g. micrometers, gauges and calipers) with proper inspection techniques.

Read, interpret and utilize Quality policies, procedures, blueprints and other documentation.

Perform receiving, in‑process, final inspection & 1st article approval of manufactured, assembled, and tested hardware and components.

Operate computer systems to perform inspection tasks.

Verify all work order documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Administer visual and physical inspections of units and subassemblies.

Complete unit shakedowns (when required) to check for foreign objects, rattles and loose internal hardware.

Perform administrative tasks associated with files management.

Perform other duties as required.

This position requires successful completion of a post‑offer visual examination to assess visual acuity and color vision annually.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer

1+ years of experience with: First Article Inspection, Aerospace and Defense, Discus, Net Inspect, GD&T, mechanical inspection, visual inspection.

ZEISS CMM Operator experience is a plus.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
