Advertised Job Summary The Mental Wellness Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and expanding trauma-informed and mental wellness initiatives under the Byrne SCIP-funded Partnerships for Prevention and Protection (P4) and Handle With Care (HWC) programs. This role focuses on facilitating P4 student groups, coordinating statewide training on trauma-informed practices, and collaborating closely with the Handle With Care Statewide Coordinator to ensure consistent implementation and data collection across partner sites. Demonstrates commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures and regulations. This position is established in support of expanded research activities.

Required Education and Experience

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree and 1 or more years of experience.

Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) preferred.

Bilingual speakers preferred.

Experience in facilitating small groups with children.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Knowledge of early childhood development and trauma-informed practices.

Experience in facilitating small groups with children.

Strong understanding of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) and resilience frameworks.

Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners.

Knowledge of the UCEDD network and the P4/HWC Initiative.

Excellent public speaking and training skills.
