Molding Operator
Pay rate:
$19.49/hr + $2.00 differential when work 3rd shift

10:00pm- 6:30am, Sunday - Thursday

Summary
Performs plastic injection molding.
Ability to identify, solve and/or elevate complex problems as they arise within the Injection department.
Demonstrate efficiency in operating all injection molding equipment with little to no supervision.
Ability to perform the duties of an Injection Operator I.
Ability to train Injection Operators I.
Perform visual inspections and identify anomalies or deficiencies and work to identify issue.
Demonstrate ability to set-up, test and troubleshoot machine from start to first piece approval.
Follow all safety requirements pertaining to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and operation of equipment.
Use safe practices and comply with all company policies, procedures and health, safety and environmental regulations, as required.
Conduct safety observations and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) activities as required by our plant EHS program.
Maintains work space before, during, and after each scheduled shift in accordance with 5S principles.
Demonstrate proficient blue print reading.
Proficient in measuring using calipers, micrometers, height stands, etc.
Make quality parts that meet customer specifications and deadlines, with minimal scrap, in a fast paced work environment.
Contribute to team effort by performing other supporting tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor or Cell Lead.
Follow Saint-Gobain principles of conduct and action, and exemplify the Saint-Gobain Attitudes.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED 1+ years' experience working in a manufacturing environment.
1+ years' experience working in Injection Molding or on related equipment is preferred.
Successfully perform the duties of an Injection Operator I & II. The Injection Operator III has the ability to set-up all jobs, start all jobs and perform all jobs with the Injection department.
Intermediate computer and math skills.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work in above ambient temperatures.
Maintain high attendance standards.
Ability to strictly adhere to written and verbal instructions.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis.
