EHM Senior Solutions is excited to welcome a new high energy, friendly, customer focused person as our Intake and Scheduling Coordinator to our Shared Services Home Health Division!
Base pay range $16.00/hr - $19.00/hr
This individual is responsible for managing all aspects of the patient intake process, establishing, and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns, managing the insurance verification and authorization and scheduling of patients with the intake team.
Job duties
Handle initial service inquiries from a variety of sources, explain services, mail pamphlets, and assist in coordinating referral information with admissions as well as insurance verification.
Input new client information into computer system, ensuring accuracy, work with intake team/field staff to determine staff coverage of new patients.
Follow up on hospitalization.
Requirements
Must have intake experience with home healthcare and/or hospise admission.
Must have experience with medical terminology, customer service.
Must have experience with EPIC, Allscripts, Wellsky, Kinnser, My Ability, Availity, Outlook, and Excel.
Ability to work in a fast paced, technical environment.
Hours Two positions: full‑time or half‑time.
Full‑time: Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
Half‑time: Monday, Thursday & Friday approximately 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
This is not a remote/work from home eligible position. However, work from home will be required for rotating weekend on call.
