Job Summary
The
Forklift Driver
ensures the efficient movement of materials within the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading trailers, moving products to and from production workers, and ensuring finished goods are properly stored and ready for shipment. Daily Responsibilities
Clock In/Out: Use the online system to accurately track your work hours. Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for safety. Forklift Inspection: Conduct a pre-shift inspection to ensure the forklift is in good working condition. Loading/Unloading: Move products from trailers at the dock doors and handle finished goods for storage or shipping. Supporting Production: Position unsorted products for production workers and remove finished products as required. End-of-Day Setup: Store finished goods and set up materials for the next shift. Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Communicate with the Admin on trailer status and provide required paperwork to drivers for loading/unloading. Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Experience Requirements
1 or more years in warehouse/manufacturing experience 1 or more years of forklift driving experience UCBEnvironmental
