$28,392.00/yr - $46,862.00/yr Position Summary
The Catering Technician is responsible for patient food service on assigned units, up to and including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery, tray retrieval and special requests from nursing or patients. Minimum Requirements
1‑3 years of related work experience is required. Must be able to read, write and speak English (Bilingual in Spanish is encouraged). Previous institutional or restaurant experience preferred. Previous catering/banquet experience preferred. Ability to complete and maintain a Serve Safe Certification within the 1st year of employment is preferred but not required. Other Information
Full time with benefits - 40 hours per week. Rotating shifts: Monday-Friday, rotating weekends and Holidays. Some 12-hour shifts. ECU Health
Roanoke‑Chowan Hospital is a 114‑bed community hospital located in Ahoskie. Serving four nearby counties, the 15‑bed emergency department sees approximately 18,000 patients per year. ECU Health Roanoke‑Chowan Hospital provides a wide range of health services, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology. In addition, the Wound Healing and Pain Management clinics serve as referral centers for neighboring ECU Health hospitals and providers. General Statement
