Speech Language Pathologist I

Position Summary Responsible for administering diagnostic and habilitative/rehabilitative services to patients referred for services and maintaining records pertinent to such services. Observes, evaluates, and documents diagnostic and treatment effects. Consults with supervisor on all pertinent matters for program and professional development (i.e., research projects, expansion of programs, record keeping, policies and procedures, etc.). Will also be involved in team dynamics and participate in interdisciplinary activities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Science and Disorders.
Less than three years of licensure.
Current Speech Language Pathology License issued by NCBOESLPA.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology awarded by ASHA, to be obtained within one year of hire.
Pay Range $68,806.40 - $100,294.48
About ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a 114‑bed community hospital located in Ahoskie. Serving four nearby counties, the 15‑bed emergency department sees approximately 18,000 patients per year. ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital provides a wide range of health services, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology. In addition, the Wound Healing and Pain Management clinics serve as referral centers for neighboring ECU Health hospitals and providers.
