Job Summary
Performs duties as assigned by the Marketing and Communications Director, including but not limited to supporting the execution of Forrest Health’s digital media and social presence across external platforms. The Digital Media Coordinator plays a key role in external communications and brand engagement by creating compelling digital content—such as written captions, graphics, short‑form videos, reels, and other multimedia assets—that connect with audiences and reflect Forrest Health’s brand, voice, and mission.
This position manages day‑to‑day social media operations, including content scheduling and publishing, platform monitoring, direct message response coordination, and after‑hours monitoring. The Digital Media Coordinator tracks performance across multiple channels, provides KPI reporting and insights, and supports digital advertising efforts. Through close collaboration with Marketing and Communications stakeholders, this role ensures accurate, timely, and brand‑aligned messaging while contributing to consistent, engaging, and responsive digital communications that support Forrest Health’s reputation, community outreach, and patient engagement.
Performance Expectations
Creates engaging, brand‑aligned digital content, including captions, graphics, short‑form videos, reels, and multimedia assets for all Forrest Health pages/platforms.
Schedules, publishes, and monitors content across social media platforms (including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube).
Monitors comments, messages, and mentions, including after‑hours monitoring as needed, to support engagement and protect the organization’s digital reputation.
Tracks and reports digital media performance using KPIs and reporting tools, providing insights to support optimization.
Supports digital advertising and online presence initiatives, including Google listings and reputation‑related activities.
Demonstrates flexibility in shifting priorities, effectively balances multiple projects, and consistently meets deadlines.
Collaborates professionally with Marketing and Communications team members and internal stakeholders.
Maintains accuracy, compliance, and alignment with Forrest Health’s brand and communications standards.
Qualifications Education/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Digital Media, or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
Strong skills in digital content creation, including captions, graphics, short‑form videos, and reels.
Working knowledge of major social media platforms and content scheduling tools.
Ability to track and interpret digital media KPIs.
Strong written communication skills with attention to accuracy and brand consistency.
Work Experience:
1–2 years of experience in social media management, digital media, or digital communications preferred.
Experience creating, scheduling, and monitoring content across multiple platforms required.
Experience supporting digital reporting, advertising, or online engagement preferred.
Mental Demands:
Ability to analyze information and exercise sound judgment.
Sustained creativity, attention to detail, and accuracy.
Ability to balance multiple projects, shift priorities, and meet deadlines.
