Responsibilities
Operate carnival‑style games, interact with guests, set and clean props, and celebrate wins.
Explain game rules and prizes, demonstrate proficient selling skills, and record player counts and prizes awarded.
Communicate through microphones and props, and manage stock levels and merchandising of assigned games.
Assist in daily maintenance and operation, ensuring cleanliness and display preparation meet company standards.
Maintain dependable attendance, flexibility with schedules, and promote teamwork, service, and respect for others.
Support leadership by communicating needed product, equipment, and supplies, and help reduce waste.
Adhere to all safety guidelines, report safety issues promptly, and complete PCI compliance and other required training.
Protect the privacy, safety, and security of guests and coworkers.
Create a fun and friendly environment for everyone.
Qualifications
Minimum age 14 years.
Preferred: 6 months sales experience and 6 months customer‑service experience.
Preferred: 1 year of experience working in a team environment.
Basic computer skills.
Genuinely friendly, self‑motivated, disciplined, and able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Commitment to continuous improvement and a professional appearance with good personal hygiene.
Team player who cooperates and helps co‑workers.
Adaptable to changes and responsive to guests’ needs within company guidelines.
Effective communication, problem‑solving, conflict‑management, and interpersonal skills.
Reflect Dollywood’s core values through dignity and respect.
Demonstrate optimism, kindness, patience, trust, and accountability.
Manual dexterity sufficient for all duties, and able to sit or stand for long periods.
Understand and retain instructions.
Flexible attendance, including overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Proficiency in basic arithmetic.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance.
Communicate effectively with guests and hosts.
Comfortable with temperatures ranging from 0 to 140°F and working outdoors.
Physical & Cognitive Requirements
Lifting up to 50 lbs, following safe‑lifting guidelines.
Sitting, standing, or walking intermittently to prolonged periods, up to 13 hours.
Performing repetitive hand, arm, or body movements throughout the shift.
Working in varying weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat, indoors and outdoors.
Cognitive: strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
