Merchandise Team Member – Dollywood's Theme Park – Part‑Time Seasonal

The ideal candidate brings a spirit of fun, authenticity, collaboration, creativity and genuine hospitality to guests. Responsibilities
Maintain proficient knowledge of all products and services available for sale to guests. Perform merchandise selling skills and guest interactions to standard. Assist in the training and development of new hires or hosts new to the location. Operate cash register/POS system efficiently, following all policies and procedures. Ensure inventory is stocked on selling shelves, fully stocked nightly at close, and prior to opening; follow inventory control procedures. Maintain shop cleanliness and display preparation to Dollywood standards. Represent Dollywood positively by being friendly and courteous, ensuring 100 % guest satisfaction. Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedules, including overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays. Communicate current needs for product ordering and supplies to the immediate supervisor. Adhere to merchandise safety guidelines, reporting any safety issue immediately. Support the immediate supervisor with actions that align to attain the location’s budgeted sales and profit. Follow all merchandise operational policies and procedures effectively. Stay up to date on all company and divisional communications. Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers, including PCI compliance. Qualifications
Education and Experience
Understand basic calculator and cash register/POS system. Comprehend instructions and retain information. Prior cash handling experience preferred. Prior sales experience preferred. Must be 16 years of age or older. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Withstand temperature ranges from 32 to 95 °F and varying climatic conditions. Cooperate with fellow employees and accept frequent changes in work schedule. Perform other duties as assigned. Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, following company safety guidelines. Intermittent to prolonged sitting, standing, walking; may travel across property with changes in terrain, stairs, uneven surfaces. Perform repetitive movements and tasks throughout the shift. Work in varying weather, indoors and outdoors, including extreme cold and heat. Use strong cognitive skills, solve problems, retain information, and communicate effectively.
