About the Role The Maintenance Technician is integral to meeting this objective, with responsibility for maintaining the overall physical condition of the community and providing world‑class service to our valued residents. Responsibilities include diagnosing maintenance issues, making necessary repairs, and ensuring all resident service requests and other community maintenance is completed in a timely manner.

What You’ll Be Doing

General maintenance and orderliness of property HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems, including inspections and repairs.

Direct mechanics, technicians, and outside contractors on assigned projects; control inventory of parts and equipment; make repairs.

Ensure successful execution of all company safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Deliver the highest level of resident satisfaction through responsive, consistent, positive, and professional interactions.

Work a rotating on‑call schedule to provide 24/7 maintenance coverage.

Who We’re Looking For

High school diploma or GED graduate level

4–6 years of maintenance experience

Demonstrated strong customer service skills

Advanced knowledge in at least one of the following disciplines: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry.

Solid troubleshooting skills; ability to diagnose problems and recommend repairs.

Ability to work with limited supervision and effective communication with customers.

Good time‑management skills.

Certifications relevant to the region (e.g., EPA 608, Boiler Certification, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair) obtained within 9 months of employment or promotion.

Required training for Maintenance Tech I completed within 9 months of hire/promotion date; Maintenance Tech II completed within 12 months.

Valid, state‑issued driver’s license with a safe driving record.
