Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Cold Header Operator to join our growing team in Alpharetta, Georgia. This is a highly specialized role requiring prior cold heading experience and technical proficiency.
Responsibilities
Set up and adjust machine components to regulate speed, pressure, temperature, dimensions, and material flow.
Perform tooling changes and machine setups according to blueprints and specifications.
Examine, measure, and verify product conformance using calipers, micrometers, and length gauges.
Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot issues during production.
Maintain safe operations by following company safety procedures.
Ensure adherence to EPS quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum
2 years of cold heading experience
(required).
Experience with multi‑head cold header machines
(required).
Hands‑on set‑up experience
including tooling changes, die adjustments, and machine alignment (required).
Proficiency with measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.
Experience with
National, Nakashimada, Carlo Salvi, or HyoDong cold header machines
strongly preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Must have valid U.S. work authorization
(required).
Shift 7:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday, 50 hours per week.
