The Cycle Counter/Receiving Clerk is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and integrity by ensuring correct delivery, performing cycle counts, random audits and reconciliation of inventory variances.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform work within takt/cycle time
Perform work per work instructions
Provide and process movement of material to point of use
Keep work area clean by disposing empty boxes and cardboard, as well as keeping material around the assembly line in order and neat
Inform proper personnel of material shortage
Enter Received material in the computer and maintain and order shipping supplies
Check in and place materials from other cells
Pull parts for other cells and transfer in the computer and enter scrap
Train others in all areas
Physically count components and parts to correlate with in-house inventory
Update transactions in computer system
Cycle count process
Enter scrap tickets
Operate forklift
Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
Practice 5Ss
Tickets (ST)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprints
Basic math skills
Knowledge of Dynamics AX Material Handler and Cycle Inventory Menu
Certified forklift operator
Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience as a material handler
