Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on school buildings classrooms and equipment
Inspect and troubleshoot electrical plumbing HVAC and mechanical systems
Assist with setup and breakdown for school events and special activities
Maintain clean and safe work areas in compliance with health and safety standards
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
Perform basic carpentry painting and general building upkeep as needed
Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
Collaborate with administrative and custodial staff to ensure facilities are well maintained
Report and document maintenance activities repairs and safety concerns
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade certification preferred
Previous experience in building maintenance facilities management or a related field preferred
Basic knowledge of electrical plumbing carpentry and HVAC systems
Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable detail‑oriented and able to follow safety protocols at all times
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required
