Maintenance Worker – Serrato Corporation
Location: Junction City, KS Salary: $70,000.00–$85,000.00
Join Serrato Corporation as a Maintenance Worker and play a key role in keeping our facilities safe, functional, and welcoming.
Primary Position Objectives Monitor, supervise, and instruct student facility maintenance staff while performing all required job duties to ensure our facility is well maintained.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
Complete minor repairs such as patching holes and painting.
Repair electrical receptacles, wires, switches, and fixtures.
Complete minor plumbing repairs such as replacement of sinks, water coolers, toilets, showers, and other plumbing items.
Paint as needed for touch-up after repairs.
Complete work order forms.
Perform preventative maintenance activities and update related logs.
Hang and repair doors and install locks.
Replace broken windowpanes.
Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
Perform general maintenance and repairs to heating and cooling units such as replacing pumps, motors, and minor parts as needed.
Assist with grounds maintenance by applying fertilizers and weed killers.
Maintain a safe and healthful work environment at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Excel.
Computer literacy with basic computer functions, email, internet, and basic programs such as Adobe Acrobat.
Knowledge and craft skills such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical, landscaping, painting.
Knowledge of using trade‑related hand and power tools.
Attention to detail in building maintenance.
Experience Minimum of one to two years’ experience in building maintenance.
Education High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Certificates / Licenses / Registration
Valid State Driver’s License
