SMI Court Coordinator Job Summary The role of a SMI Court Coordinator is to provide administrative support to the assigned CBI SMI clinic and the attorney in all matters related to Court Ordered Treatment (COT) pursuant to the Arizona Revised Statute Title 36, Article 5. All communication between the court and SMI clinic is routed through the Court Coordinator. The coordinator ensures court‑ordered requirements are met and assists staff and patients in navigating the civil commitment process.
Skills & Requirements
High school diploma or GED. Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
1‑3 years of experience working in medical records preferred.
Current Arizona driver’s license (valid and in good standing).
39‑month Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
Certified Notary Public preferred.
Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) certification per A.A.C. R9‑10‑101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures preferred.
