Your future role "Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and negotiation expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and results-driven teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations and successful project execution by developing procurement strategies and fostering strong supplier relationships. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (such as Quality, Project Management, and Operations), manage supplier negotiations and performance reviews, and much more."
We'll look to you for:
Deploying commodities strategy
Ensuring project execution in line with Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives
Piloting local contractual relationships with suppliers
Identifying project and business needs
Preparing and launching Requests for Quotation (RFQ) with suppliers using the standard tool
Negotiating cost reductions with suppliers
Providing inputs for order placement and ensuring QCD target achievement, including CONQ (Cost Of Non-Quality) and claims management
Leading supplier performance reviews and managing initial issues before escalation
Consolidating commodity needs and actively participating in commodity strategy and panel elaboration
Supporting Commodity Managers in tender phases and representing commodities towards projects, platforms, and solutions

Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Business Management, or a related field
Experience or understanding of procurement strategies, supplier development, and contract negotiations
Knowledge of SAP systems (mandatory)

Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convince others
Negotiation skills
Ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities autonomously
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Respect for ethical conduct and adherence to Alstom's Code of Ethics
Fluent in English
