Long Term Care Executive Recruiter at Career Strategies Position Summary:
The External Marketer is responsible for building and maintaining strong referral relationships to support census growth for a skilled nursing facility. This role focuses on developing partnerships with local hospitals, physicians, case managers, and community organizations while promoting the facility’s clinical services and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain referral relationships with local hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, physicians, and community partners
Drive admissions and census growth through consistent external marketing efforts
Represent the facility professionally in the community and at networking events
Educate referral sources on the facility’s services, clinical programs, and outcomes
Collaborate with internal admissions, nursing, and leadership teams to ensure smooth transitions of care
Track and report referral activity, trends, and market intelligence
Support facility marketing initiatives and outreach strategies
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an External Marketer in
skilled nursing / long-term care
required
Established relationships with
Tampa-area hospitals and community referral sources
required
Strong knowledge of SNF referral processes and payer mix
Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and follow‑up skills
Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Medicare, Managed Care, and Medicaid populations
Background in healthcare sales or business development within post-acute care
