Position Summary: Provides professional and technical skills to provide safety, comfort, personal hygiene and the protection of patients in the patient care areas.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma

CA Certified Nurse Assistant Course

C.N.A. License, BLS

Hospital mandatory education: Orientation, OSHA, EOC, Infection Control, Abuse/Neglect, Ethics, Tuberculosis Screening, BLS

Preferred Qualifications

One year of nurse assistance experience

Knowledge of university and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
