Description Of Work
Facilitate therapeutic group sessions within the Hope and Wellness Center treatment mall program.
Develop and implement group‑based interventions using evidence‑based modalities.
Exercise clinical judgment to assess participant needs, monitor group dynamics, and adapt interventions to target treatment goals.
Document participants’ responses, performance, and progress toward goals outlined in the comprehensive treatment plan.
Serve on Hope and Wellness Center and/or hospital‑wide committees and workgroups.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in social work from an accredited institution.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina (licensure required).
Knowledge of social work principles, techniques, and practices in inpatient psychiatric treatment.
Ability to apply DSM‑5 criteria and psychopathology knowledge for evidence‑based, clinically therapeutic group interventions.
Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with adults of varied cognitive capacities.
Capability to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with diverse patient populations and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Pay & Benefits
Recruitment Range: $50,633–$88,607.
Sign‑on Bonus: $5,000 may be offered, contingent on 2025‑2026 budget approval.
Eligibility for Sign‑on Bonus: newly hired permanent full‑time or part‑time employees working 30–40 hours/week; prorated for
Ineligible if: held a North Carolina state government, judicial, or UNC system position within last 12 months; received a prior sign‑on bonus from any state agency; DHHS paid any contract placement or recruitment fees.
All bonuses contingent on budget and eligibility determination at hire.
