IDR is seeking a Data Center Technician III to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Oklahoma City. This role involves supporting data center operations through hardware installation, network troubleshooting, and environmental management within a fast‑paced, technical environment.
Position Overview for the Data Center Technician III
Responsible for day‑to‑day data center support activities, including server and network hardware installation and maintenance.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and respond to hardware and software issues, utilizing industry‑standard ticketing systems.
Perform copper and fiber‑optic cabling tasks, “Layer 1” troubleshooting, and IT asset management.
Support and participate in change management processes, including preventative maintenance and production monitoring.
Join an on‑call rotation to provide after‑hours support as needed and ensure operational continuity.
Requirements for the Data Center Technician III
Able to safely lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
Able to be on feet for the majority of the workday.
Fluency in both written and spoken English.
Must provide own transportation to work location(s).
Must be able to respond to any on‑call request within 1 hour.
