Applicants must have current authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Responsibilities
Support Legal and Operations teams during daily operations.
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants locally, domestically, and internationally.
Handle a variety of administrative legal functions, including manual and electronic filing of legal documents.
Interact with court staff by telephone and provide support on the legal line (setting hearings, responding to requests, giving case updates).
Manage the electronic system of record ILMS and update case status in the case management system.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma.
1‑2 years of administrative support experience.
Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.
Strong organizational and paper/electronic filing skills.
Ability to manage printing, scanning, sorting of documents, handle a large workload, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Proficiency with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Administrative, Legal, or a similar field.
1‑2 years of administrative, legal, and/or office experience.
Knowledge of legal concepts, terminology, principles, and court filing requirements.
Experience with online e‑filing vendors (e.g., PACER) and legal search engines (WestLaw, LEXIS).
Understanding of mailroom concepts and processing inbound/outbound mail.
Ability to handle manual paper and electronic filing of documents with courts and track deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and ability to compile information from various sources.
