Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team, working Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. The role involves learning and operating various equipment to ensure high-quality packaging and production processes.
Responsibilities
Learn and operate equipment such as Velteko, Matrix, label printer, blending/grinding machines.
Operate manual packaging equipment including heat sealing machines and foot-powered bagging machines.
Enter lot codes on work orders and maintain cleanliness of packaging machinery and work areas daily.
Operate forklifts to move equipment and supplies.
Verify correct materials on production lines and troubleshoot technical issues.
Perform changeovers and shut down all packaging machinery.
Conduct process quality control checks.
Perform inventory and cycle counts, and report maintenance issues.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, Cal/OSHA, FSMA, and all food and worker safety regulations.
Participate in continuous improvement and 5S projects.
Essential Skills
1‑2 years of experience in a manufacturing facility with packaging or blending machine experience.
Strong command of English language skills, both written and oral.
Attention to detail and adherence to guidelines, policies, or procedures.
Ability to work in a team environment with professional and positive communication.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
ServSafe Food Handler certification is a plus.
Forklift experience is advantageous.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
