Description Local aerospace facility is looking to add an experienced composite mechanic to complete structural and sheet metal assemblies in accordance with blueprints, process specifications, and planning requirements.
Responsibilities
Perform close-tolerance drilling, fitting, and installation of fasteners, bushings, and bearings on composite and metallic components.
Apply sealants, verify tooling and part accuracy.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety standards.
Maintain precision, cleanliness, and attention to detail.
Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient production flow.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED with basic blueprint reading skills.
Minimum 1 year of experience in rivet, sheet metal, or composite assembly preferred.
Skilled in close-tolerance drilling, sealing, and precision measurement, with strong attention to detail and ability to follow process specs.
Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive hand and arm tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
Shift/Schedule Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
