Position Summary This position will install, maintain and repair electrical systems, apparatus and electrical/electronic components. The National Electrical Code and all other applicable standards and specifications are followed.
Primary Responsibilities
Measure, cut, bend and install conduit, using appropriate equipment
Pull electrical wire and cable in conduit using manual and power equipment
Move/handle various equipment and spools of wire
Install electrical raceways and wire, conduit, lighting fixtures, controls, machinery and electrical distribution equipment under the supervision of an experienced Journeyman
Proper care for material, tools and equipment
Assist electricians by performing various tasks

All other duties as assigned and required
Required Qualifications
Basic understanding of electrical construction
Highly organized, detail-oriented and hard working
Effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyMust possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels
Education and Experience
Some electrical experience preferred
Must be able to pass a physical exam, drug screening, background check and must maintain a valid driver's license
