Standard Work Hours
2nd shift M-Th 3pm-1am
Responsibilities
Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
Must have knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
Must perform basic mechanical repairs.
May direct the work of others in the lower classifications.
Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures.
Install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.
Do lay outs, assemble, install, test, repairs, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.
Qualifications
Two-year Associate degree and 5+ years work experience required.
Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
Job Physical Requirements
Standing long period, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending.
Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
