About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Operations and Lending to ensure that its operational and systems infrastructure, as well as delivery channels, are optimized for the execution of current programs and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the organization's position as a leader in the financial services sector. This role demands a strategic, passionate individual with a strong background in financial wellness, exceptional leadership, and influencing abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of how to lead an organization to the next level. The SVP will be a key partner with the executive team and the board, advocating and promoting the strategic plan, and will be involved in all aspects of the company's operations, from lending and collections to marketing and contact center management.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years' of continuous operational management experience in a financial institution, and at least 5 years' in a senior management role. A background in commercial and/or mortgage lending is highly valued. The role requires a candidate with a strong understanding of the financial industry, including regulatory knowledge, and a proven track record in change management, process improvement, and operational performance. The ideal candidate will be adept at strategic thinking, have superior interpersonal skills, and be capable of leading high-performing sales and service delivery teams. Responsibilities also include budget management, policy development, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
