About Our Client: Addison Group's client is seeking a Staff Assistant to assist with administrative tasks and have experience working on the Hill. The Staff Assistant plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, supporting executives and teams with administrative tasks, and assisting with special projects.
Job Description: The Staff Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient functioning of the office. This role involves managing schedules, handling correspondence, maintaining records, and coordinating meetings and events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations Maintain organized records, files, and databases Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications professionally Assist with event planning and logistics Process invoices, expense reports, and other administrative documentation Support internal teams with project coordination and research as needed Order office supplies and ensure smooth day-to-day operations Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred 1-3 years of administrative or office support experience, specifically from the Hill Perks: Benefits - Dental, Vision, Medical, 401(k)
